Fall Ensemble
I spotted this woman as she was making her way to the Chicago Theater to see The XX. The harem pants, brocade vest, bohemian jewelery and high heeled boots really make this outfit standout.

Chris on State Street
This sweet Pac Man Blinky pin was created by twin brother design team Dee and Ricky. I am a total sucker for low res 8 bit images transcribed into a physical objects, so I am obviously a big fan of this pin. You can pick up this little baby and many other radical creations on their website deeandricky.com
They've also created a limited edition of these sexy Chanel lipstick pins. They are not up on the site but you can contact them for more information at INFO@DEEANDRICKY.COM

Andrea after work
The gray and dark skirt/top/jacket paired with the bright orange bag and leather sandals looks really great. Her lavender pedicure is also pretty cool.

Evening Commute
There are so many great components to this ensemble. The Picasso (or picasso inspired) t-shirt, the gray frames and tennis shoes. However, the tech accessories definitely take the cake. Red ear buds and a black leather laptop case?!?! Unexpected and so cool.

Where Can I Get an Awesome Laptop Case?
I was inspired to write this post by my "Evening Commuter". His laptop case looked so stylish, which is an unusual sight on the streets of Chicago. It's unfortunate because there are a lot of interesting designs out there online, you just really need to dig to find them. Here is a round up of the best.
This L.A.M.B laptop sleeve is beautiful in logo stamped black leather and awesome striped lining. Thanks Gwen! Available at the Apple Store
I love the mixture of black and brown leather on this case. Also the green zipper is a great touch. Available at Citrine.com
Calder Cases are super pricey, but apparently indestructible. They are are also beautifully crafted and come in a variety of great colors. Available at Calder Originals
This L.A.M.B laptop sleeve is beautiful in logo stamped black leather and awesome striped lining. Thanks Gwen! Available at the Apple Store
Class up your routine with this snazzy case. It may look pricey, but it's a steal at $35.
This Louis Vuitton case is the ultimate in luxury and protection. This looks pricey and is at about $1,700. Available at Louis Vuitton
This wood version by Rainer Spehl is absoloutely beautiful. Available at Rainersphel.com
Here is a more graphic take on the wood theme from design and production studio Hunter Gatherer. The design is brought to us from Incase | Curated by Arkitip. Available at Incase.com
I love this old fashioned tapestry style of this case. It's also on sale for only $52.70. Available at coolcomputerbags.com
OMG. How cool is this. I am so getting one of these. You can too at 12south.com
Feel like James bond or one of the Deal No Deal girls with this rugged and very professional looking case. Available at radtech.com

Mary Katrantzou London 2011
Mary Katrantzou's spring ready-to-wear collection is TITS! She used digitally manipulated images from old Architectural Digest and through the wonders of modern textile printing has created some of the most exciting clothes I have seen in some time. The collection is funny, luxe, gorgeous, and incredibly flattering. I would wear one of these numbers in a New York minute.
The tromp l'oil mixed with architectural themed accesories plays with our perception in a way that is visually cheeky and seriously exciting. Hooray for Mary Katrantzou! See the whole collection here

Ready for Fall
The tights with shorts trend seems to have officially hit Chicago. This woman's take on it works well with the leather back pack, braided belt, two tone shoes and paisley tights. Tres chic chica!

Accessory of the Week: Stella McCartney ID Necklace
This is pretty spectacular. The heavy traditionally masculine ID bracelet is made glamorous and chic in this gigantic necklace version. The only questions are would you have it inscribed and with what?

Allison in Robert Rodriguez
I love the over-sized men's dress shirt look. I was inspired to wear a similar (low rent) version of this outfit to work today using a thrift Christian Dior men's shirt over black stretch pants.
