The star of the collection may have been the packaging... |
Bracelets which allowed you to shop the collection for 15 minutes were distributed based on your place in line. |
People brought camping supplies, which they discarded in the street as they shopped. |
The mens collection was not restricted to bracelet holders, but had almost completely sold out by 8:30 am. |
You can tell by the smile on this little lady's face that she got the dress she wanted. |
This cute couple both scored the sunglasses, which retailed for 19.99. They are currently going on Ebay for five times that. |
At 1 pm people who had not received bracelets lined up around the block for the opportunity to shop what was left of the collection. |
I love the photos! I was in line at 5:45am and couldn't shop the collection until 10:25am. I was able to score the red chandelier necklace, one of the t-shirts and the same canvas tote you purchased.
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely an interesting experience!
I'm in the first photo a few people above the girl in the red coat! I'm wearing a hot pink shirt and have a white scarf around my neck with my brown hair up in a ponytail. You can only see a sliver of pink. I recognized the women in the front of the holding pen as the girls I befriended in line and then realized that I must be in the photo too!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my story about waiting in line overnight. It was totally insane but totally worth it :)
