IFB Conference - New York Fashion Week

Happy Fashion Week everyone! Today is officially the first day of the week long cycle of Fall 2013 shows and general falderal.  I'm here in the city to capture all the fabulousness AND learn a thing or two at the Independent Fashion Blogger Conference.  Turns out fashion bloggers are both amazingly photogenic and make for some great street style,  so without further ado I give you some of the best looks from day 1 of the conference.

My darling friend Jessica Moazami and I traveled to New York together from Chicago. Jess is a fashion stylist by day and blogger by night. Check out her beautiful work here.

Zanita Morgan is a blogger and former model based in Australia.  Her site, simply titled Zanita features her gorgeous photography and beautiful, stylish girls. What's not to like?! She spoke on the first panel of the day about the business of blogging. 

Laura of the lovely personal style blog On The Racks was one of the panelists in the discussion "What Brands Want From Bloggers". The combination of this color blocked jacket and flowy pants is everything.

I bumped into Aimee Song of the popular blog Song of Style as she was arriving for her panel on the exciting topic of affiliate marketing ;) She was a great speaker and took this really, really, really boring topic and breathed some fresh life into.

Last but not least we have new-ish blogger Lilah Ramzi in this gorgeous vintage dress. She has a really interesting blog called Part Nouveau where she compares new fashion trends with historical garments and ephemera.
