Jessica Murnane is a woman of many, many talents. She's an incredible designer and founder of the stationary line
Suitor, she has a rad blog called
So, How Was Your Day, and if this wasn't enough her latest project,
One Part Plant is a program she developed to spread the word about the benefits of a plant based diet.
One of the most delicious parts of One Part Plant is For Reals Meals.
A monthly, plant-based brunch, hosted by different culinary folks
around town. I was lucky enough to be invited by Eva Diabrl of the
delightful blog Miss Renaissance, who gloriously happens to be a pastry
chef.
She created a number of things, but my favorite was the interperation of a pound cake (pictured above.) Also if you can't see for yourself, Eva knows how to set a table!
One of the best parts of the afternoon was the company, along with hosts
Eva Daiberl, I got to hang with the lovely
Jamon Deaver,
Jared Hatch,
Jena Gambacini and
Daniel Kelleghan and
Allison Fraker.
I ate many of these
Flax No Bake Energy Bites that you can whip up yourself thanks to the recipe on Miss Renaissance
Ok, so can we finally talk about this outfit?!?!?! Jessica looks
amazing here with her mega expert level pattern mixing. Also I'm loving
this fabulous hat from
Optimo. I have a similar one made of felt that I can't get
enough of.
Also clickety clack on over and learn more about
One Part Plant and all the cool things they are doing to the spread the word that a plant based diet is where it's at.
Yes to pattern mixing & vegetables!
ReplyDeleteNow what we need is a mixed vegetable print outift!
ReplyDeleteI love Jessica's hat! And One Part Plant too, of course.
