She looks adorable here in head-to-toe Saint Laurent, which she says is a rare occurence, she usually mixes and matches. Looking forward to capturing some of Ms. Shah's festival looks when she comes to town for Lollapalooza next weekend! Yipee

Roma Shah in Downtown Chicago
I met Roma Shah several weeks ago at a lunch that the lovely Azeeza Khan organized. Roma is an executive at Saint Laurent (née YSL).

My Elle Pitchfork Coverage
This is third year I've gotten to shot Pitchfork for Elle.com and what I can I say, third times a charm, because the ladies truly brought it this year. I think it may have been the most stylish year yet :)
Ms. Jena Gambaccini of Chi City Fashion made the cover of the album in a PJK Dress
Here are some of my other favorites
Meagan Fredette from LatterStyle is killing it in this old modified Prom Dress.
Britt Julious looks fly as always in this Topshop ensemble with the pièce de résistance, her Ready-To-Stare Chain
Have a look at all the miles of style on Elle.com

Chairlift at Pitchfork Music Festival 2013
One of my favorite shows of Pitchfork 2013 was the Brooklyn based synth duo Chairlift, comprised of Caroline Polachek and Patrick Wimberly.
I caught up with Caroline backstage just as she was about to go on, looking out of this world in a a pair of modified scrubs, a gorgeously creative dye job and geometric eye makeup.
Caroline and Tom Hines directed this weird and beautiful video which consists of Caroline doing some stripped down modernist dance moves and at times hilarious hand gestures cut in with sweet drawings of Patrick Wimberly. Definitely worth a watch.
Also, the fabulous Devonte Hynes of Blood Orange was on hand backstage.
Big thanks to my partner in crime Scott Drasler for taking the concert shots and this amazing photo of Dev and Caroline. Love you bunny.
How amazing is this outfit. I love the thin ribbons around Caroline's wrists. Perfect for dancing and reminiscent of something clinical like bandages (or maybe a straight jacket ;)
Caroline has the most beautiful ethereal voice. I heard her doing crazy warm ups backstage to be able to hit the notes on songs like Amanaemonesia (listen below).

The Ladies of Pitchfork Music Festival 2013
So much great style at Union Park this weekend. Here are some of my favorites...
Laura M Gray is reppin' her team the Redwings loud and proud.
Love this throw back 90's look.
Mary Eleanor Wallace is the owner of the lovely shop Tusk in Logan Sqaure. You should absolutely go visit next time you're in the neighborhood at 3205 W Armitage Ave
Finally we have Brazillian babe and street style photographer Isa Giallorenzo. Check out her radical site Chicago Looks here.

The Men of Pitchfork Music Festival 2013
There were SO many great looking dudes at Union Park over the past weekend at Pitchfork Music Festival 2013. Here is a selection of my favorites...
Victor Nwankwo looks nice and crisp here in his white ensemble.
Luis Torres of Chic Overload looks amazing here in his Karen Walker Sunnies and Alexander Wang Bag.

Loving this supreme cap and the bright yellow top. ALSO this is Luis Torres again from Day 2, what can I say, the kid knows how to dress :)
Look for tons more Pitchfork style coverage over the next week.

Pitchfork Music Festival - Looking and Staying Cool
Pitchfork Music Festival is this weekend!! The lineup is weird and amazing, Bjork, Belle and Sebastian, R Kelly AND the Breeders playing the classic album Last Splash in it's entirety (taking me back to 1995!). I'll be on hand capturing the best looks for Elle.com and Très Awesome (of course). The weather is supposed to be STEAMY, so here are some great examples of how to look and stay cool over the weekend.
Love these shades, tooooo cute.
Last, but certainly not least, we have Erin Brennan of E-Drop Off looking cool as a cucumber in weather that was anything but.
See you at Union Park People!
What better way to kick things off than with Shannon O'Brien, of the rad beauty blog Cheap Frills and Trhills. I love this photo for many reasons. First off, it's a document of our very first meeting exactly one year ago as she made her way to Pitchfork 2012. Secondly it's a living memorial to her Barbie Dream Bike, since stolen by total jerks. Can't wait to see what you're rockin' this year mama.
Why not make things a little tropical with a D.I.Y palm tree hat.
I'm a obsessed with fake food (weird but true). So I'm obviously going to be totally over the moon about fake food you can wear. This little lady is doing it right...
Mel Muoio is giving the Solid Gold Dancers a run for their money here in this FABULOUS metallic ensemble. Also love those Karen Walkers.
Make your boyfriends logo t-shirt extremely fashionable and breezy by cutting it in half and rolling up the sleeves. Nice work mama.

Wavefront Music Festival Style
Wavefront Music Festival was last weekend and the babes were out in full force. I love this woman's graphic look. The bold bright lip and black and white striped shorts.
Alicia Gutierrez looks super fly here. Take a look at the photos of her I took last summer in Logan Square.
Caught up with Kid Color looking all tropical on Friday.
Definitely the most fly babe of them all was Britt Julious looking amazing here in spangles and camo on the beach on friday.
Diplo tore it up on the main stage on Sunday night.

Designer Azeeza Khan
I have taken many, many pictures of my friend, designer Azeeza Khan (the incredible talent behind the fashion line Azeeza ) however this may be my favorite. She is pictured here in her signature Azza scarf, Henry and Belle Super Skinny Jeans and "real glasses".
I heart these Isabel Marant sandals. They are making me overly excited for the upcoming Isabel Marant pour HM.
See some of the many photos I've taken of Azeeza over the years here and here.
