Succulents are far and away my favorite plant and these adorable vases are a way to make a good thing even better. They make amazingly unique centerpieces for a special occasion that your guests won't stop talking about or are a perfect addition to a kitchen window sill, that will just make you smile. Part of the fun was arranging different little floral arrangements in each honey bear. Big thanks to Flower For Dreams for supplying us with the blooms. With every bouquet you purchase they make a donation to a specific charity of the month (BrightPink is this months cause)

Joey at Hash Chicago
I met up with new friend Joey for brunch at Hash Chicago (hands down my favorite brunch joint in the city) in what turned out to be the continuing snowstorm that is this Chicago winter. She was kind enough to pose for me in the snow (read, if I invite you to have lunch with me the subtext is that I will be taking you're picture no matter what it's like outside ;)

Pink, Red and Valentines Day All Over
Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays. I LOVE the candy, crafty cards and most of all the opportunity to wear obnoxious amounts of red and pink together. So with the big day coming up this Friday I thought I'd honor of the upcoming lovefest with a some very festive pink and red streetstyle.
First up is the stylist Jessica Moazami in a hot pink jacket that according to her is street style bait.
You can never have too many shades of pink and red AND definitely pile on the arm candy.
Definitely wear a bright red coat and to make it even more interesting ignore the sleeves and wear it as a cape like The Glamorai is doing.
Go for some executive realness like Hallie of Corals and Cognacs with a red blazer and matching pumps.

Wear a delicate pastel pink frock with sky high red silk stilletos like Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper Girl.

Wear some major head gear with your red slacks in the earring form of Drapes by Ashley Scott.
And finally, make it velvet and wear a bow on it like this purse from TopShop.

New York Fashion Week
It's baby time at The House of Très Awesome. So me and Adeline, who was born just two months ago will be sitting this New York Fashion week out. And while all the other street style photographers will be slogging through the slush me and Addie will be having our own nice and cozy photo shoots here at home ;) However, 'tis the season, so here is a rundown of my favorite looks from "winter" fashion weeks past.

Drinking with Rosie and James Clayton
I had the pleasure of having James and Rosie Clayton over to my house the other day for a little street style and cocktail action. Rosie is the founder of the former beautiful shop Roslyn which just closed to make way her and Jame's new venture, a Scotch based supper bar with an extensive drink list and a select menu of small bites.
I couldn't help but capture Rosie's fly outfit out in the snow before we ventured in to make the drinks (and by we I mean James).
James hails from a town outside of Edinburgh in Scotland, so he knows a thing or two about Scotch. In case you didn't know, Scotch is malt whisky or grain whisky made in Scotland. (I didn't, until Wikipedia told me :) PS Rosie your husband can come over and make me cocktails any day...
